Journaling reads:
You really wanted to bring the cup of water out to the sand box. It didn’t matter to you that there had already been lots of water poured in and the sand was looking wet and mucky.
When I asked you not to pour more water into the sandbox, you looked up at me with this little expression on your face. It is obvious you are not thrilled with being told “no”, but your eyes show the struggle of wanting to do what you want -even though you were told not to. It was a split second of defiance.
After this picture was taken, I brought you over to another part of the yard and made it your new water dumping area. You were content with that -and it was like nothing ever happened.
But I am so glad I got a picture of this face.

Cathryn

Journaling reads: June 24,2007
You guys LOVE Cathryn! When we were at the park, it seemed every time I turned around, another one of you were crawling all over her. Or wanting to be chased around in the grass by her -or wanting her to feed you a fruit cup. Whether wrestling around or giving you hugs and kisses, she’s a great cousin who knows just what you need.

Who am I?
Credits here
Who am I? was done for the scrapbooking class I am taking. This was a hard page to do, just because I don't generally think just about me and what I am about. It is all true, but I know I skimmed by and didn't really write anything meaningful. Partly because I wanted to get it done before I went to bed and partly because I had hard a rushed day and don't want to dwell on things I am feeling right now.
Journaling reads:
I am a wife and Mother. Daughter and a sister. Cook, maid, and laundromat all in one. Listener of problems and giver of advice. Romance novels are a favorite pastime of mine. Bubble bath lover. A bit high maintenance, but a loyal friend to the end. Bargain hunter and handy with home projects indoors and out. Crafty and always looking to try something new. I love pretty things and hate complications. A bit afraid to step out of the box and fail.
God praising woman who is thankful for her blessings

Water
Credits here
The journaling reads:
Your Daddy has introduced you boys to drinking out of the water hose. Even though when your little hands try to turn the hose towards yourself and water pours down your shirts, soaking through to your little tummies, you love to hold the hose and drink out of it.
It is the cutest thing to watch when the big "that is COLD" gasp comes out and your blue eyes get so wide. But only a few seconds later the shock wears off and you are all running back to try it again. June 2007

Chalk Artist
Credits here
The journaling reads:
Every time we go outside you race over to the chalk, grabbing as many pieces as your little hands can hold. You've drawn hundreds of little lines on the wall that seems to be your constant work in progress.
